Eyes Wide Shut

Malorie is a ball of fire. She runs everywhere. When running, if she thinks she might run into something instead of adjusting to miss it she just shuts her eye that is closest to the object and kind of hopes for the best....Today, the best did not meet her but instead the door frame did. Matt said she hit so hard that it sounded like a bowling ball hitting the floor! While this is all very sad it left quite an impressive mark. You can see the line down from her forehead and on her cheek of where she hit. Maybe next time she will either slow down or keep her eyes on where she is going.

Belles of the Ball

Matt and I went to an "Ugly Christmas Sweater" party last weekend. It was a lot of fun and even though there was no prize for the ugliest sweater, I am sure that we would have won....or at least come in second.

What's your problem?

I wish I had a picture to go along with this but I don't. Malorie has become very good at playing pretend (Thanks to her very creative and playful sister). Our favorite character that she takes on is a superhero. She ties a blanket on as a cape and then she will come up to us and say, "I'm a superhero....What's your problem?" How valient! :)

The wrath of mom

The other night the girls were downstairs and I was up. Annalie was coming upstairs to tattle on Malorie. Apparently Malorie was in hot pursuit but could not keep up. When Annalie got to me Malorie just stopped dead in her tracks in the kitchen. Annalie told on her and was given the response of "work it out". As she ran to go back downstairs she met Malorie who was still standing in the kitchen and Malorie wispered, "What did Mom say?"
What a turkey. It is scary that at three she knows what buttons to push on Annalie and she knows that there will more than likely be a punishment.
