Twenty tiny fingers

We got a package from Great Grandma Day that had some gloves in it for the girls. They are very cute "people" gloves and the girls LOVE them! We put them on at least five times a day just because they are so cute.

Matt's big day

Matt has finally entered his 30s. He told me that his 31st birthday is a big deal because he is now officially IN his 30s and he isn't JUST 30 anymore. What a big step! We had a HUGE party with the girls and my parents and an ice cream cake from Dairy Queen! We sure love our Matt and we love every chance that we get to celebrate him!

A Brand New Day!

The time has come to announce that we are pregnant! We are super excited! I am due at the beginning of June. I am considered high risk which means I have had more ultrasounds in this first twelve weeks of pregnancy with this baby than I had in the entire pregnancy with Malorie. :) Annalie has been very interested and very concerned about this pregnancy. She has a lot more questions this time around. This morning she asked me when our baby would get a brain. We are looking forward to a FULL pregnancy and I am looking forward to getting big. :)

It's finally here!

James' headstone is finally here and in place. It is nice to be able to see his little name when we go visit. I am going to try and make some cute flower arangements to go in the vase (it is the circle on the top of the headstone). We just wanted to share this so that our out of town family could see it!

Tricking and treating

We had a great Halloween this year! The past two years we have had to cancel out on a lot of Halloween fun because we were near wildfires in California and because of the smoke we couldn't be outside. This year the weather was perfect. I usually expect the first good snow of the year to be on Halloween but this year it was 75 degrees and perfect! Annalie was dressed as a baby and Malorie was dressed in a Dora Princess dress but if you asked her what she was she would tell you that she was a mermaid or that she was a fairy. I guess you can be whatever your imagination lets you be. We went out trick-or-treating as a family and then Malorie and I went home and Annalie and Matt continued on with Grandma Day. They had a lot of fun and brought home A LOT of candy!

Don't act like you're not impressed

Here are our Halloween pumpkins! Annalie picked out the witch, Malorie wanted the cat and Matt and I got to carve them! It was actually quite fun and I think that they turned out pretty cute. We are hesitant to put them out on the porch because we have already seen some smashed pumpkins around the neighborhood! I guess we will wait until the big night to put them out but they are dang cute!

We went country, then we came back

Over the weekend we went to Scottsbluff, NE to visit one of Matt's friends from the Marine Corp. It was really quite fun. We forgot our camera so we are hoping that Matt's friend will send us some photos. Annalie and Malorie got to ride one of their horses and Matt and I got to go out back and shoot some clay pigeons. Yep, we were that country. It was a nice get away and it was fun to spend some time with the girls and go swimming and get away from our normal routine. It was fun to visit a small town but it is nice to be back in our big city.
